We can only give what we have. We love because we have received love.
God loved us even though we were sinners (Romans 5:8). He was willing to give up His only Son to save us simply because He loved us.
So as God loved us, we should also share that love to other people. Though they are unlovable, we should still love them as God loved us (Ephesians 5:2).
