self-esteem

“I’m ugly.” “I’m no good at sports. Not good in school either.” “How can anyone love me? I’m not worth it.” Have you ever thought this?

Have you ever looked in the mirror and wished you were someone else or at least change something about yourself like your nose, your eyes, your height, your personality — something.

Too often that our self-worth is based on possessions, achievements, physical attractiveness or popularity. And with these standards, happiness and fulfillment will always be short lived.

God created you in His own image and likeness. Knowing this provides a solid basis for self-worth. God is pleased with how He made you. If you feel worthless or of little value, remember that God made you with a purpose. You are valuable to Him (Psalm 139:13-14).

One of the purposes of God for you is to have a relationship with JESUS. And that relationship opens up many possibilities for your life. Connect with JESUS by saying this prayer and get it on a main purpose for you.
